Brighton is considered to be the master of the transfer market by many. Every season, they seem to find a new gem of a player, then sell him for millions the next campaign. Whilst selling their best players, they seem to build a functional team that can do well in the league too. Some of their signings are now world-class players who were once unknown teenagers, like Yves Bissouma, Alexis Mac Allister, and most recently, Moises Caicedo. However, this is not the main transfer strategy of Brighton; There are three types of Brighton signings that I will discuss, and pick two of each type for the transfer predictions.

Type 1: Unknown, promising teenagers

Yes, this was the type I had just mentioned above. This type of players are usually scouted by Tony Bloom's fancy transfer network and either become loanees or get sold for millions. Brighton is the perfect place for teenagers under 20 years old waiting for their breakout, their development is elite. Over the past five years, players from Moises Caicedo, Jan Paul van Hecke, Jakub Moder, Kacper Kozlowski, Julio Enciso, Simon Adingra, then recently Yasin Ayari, Facundo Bounanotte, Adrian Mazilu, and Valentin Barco came into the club, and a good mix of them developed into promising, solid players. There are two good options for this category of players: Ardon Jashari and Brajan Gruda. Jashari is an explosive midfielder who bosses the midfield in the Swiss Super League with FC Luzern. He looks mature with his age, and could really do well in Brighton. Gruda is another explosive player who plays as an attacking midfielder for Mainz in Germany, who has been scouted by Bayern Munich. He likes to dribble and sprint through defenders and could create a lot of chances for the forwards. With the additions of Jashari and Gruda, Brighton could develop two players into the best of their positions.

Type 2: Solid, promising, but still young players

Brighton is also known to sign some more established players in their team that aren't quite unknown, but still less popular players, in order to get turned into an integral part of the team. This type of player would function for the team and they're the main reason for Brighton's good results. In the current squad, Pervis Estupinan, Pascal Gross, Adam Webster, and many type 2 players have been key to their success, they were all signed as older but still solid and long-lasting players. Here are two signings that would fit into the Brighton squad easily: Enzo Loiodice and Strahinja Pavlovic. Loiodice is a CDM playing for UD Las Palmas from Spain. He is good at progressive ball carries and tackles, and would fit into Brighton's midfield brilliantly. Strahinja Pavlovic played at Salzburg and proved himself as an aerial threat and solid center back, and Brighton would be his perfect big move. Loiodice and Pavlovic are more experienced than Jashari and Gruda, but they can still offer as much potential as the younger players.

Type 3: "old-fashioned" players

Now we get to the final, cliche, but lesser mentioned type of Brighton players- the "old fashioned". Brighton would usually sign a player of this type each season- a player who has seen it all on the pitch and played for some of England's biggest clubs. For the past few years, Danny Welbeck, Adam Lallana, and most recently James Milner fell into this category of players. The purpose of old-fashioned players was to have some leadership in the dressing room, along with giving them a final chance to flourish, just like with the first two types of players. So this is the most old-fashioned player I could find in this year's Premier League: Ashley Young. Yep, one final season for Young to flourish at Brighton at left or right back to cover injuries sounds about right. The well-seasoned full-back is still full of quality with his exquisite deliveries and could do a good job if Brighton is a goal down, has used four subs, and the opposition made a foul in their own half. You know what would happen.

Brighton's 24-25 squad with all new predicted signings, minus loan and out-of-contract players

GK: Verbruggen, Steele, Scherpen (loan return)

LB: Estupinan, Barco

CB: Pavlovic (predicted new signing), Webster, Igor, Dunk, van Hecke

RB: Lamptey, Veltman, Young (predicted new signing)

CDM: Baleba, Gilmour, Loiodice (predicted new signing), Jashari (predicted new signing), Hinshelwood

CM: Dahoud (loan return), Moder, Gross, Kozlowski (loan return), Ayari (loan return)

CAM: Enciso, Bounanotte, Sarmiento (loan return)

LW: Mitoma, Osman (CONFIRMED new signing)

RW: March, Adingra, Gruda (predicted new signing), Sima (loan return)

ST: Ferguson, Joao Pedro, Undav (loan return)

Unstoppable, right? Even with some key departures like Ansu Fati, Milner, and Welbeck, this squad could still do the job for Brighton. Loan returnees Scherpen, Dahoud, Ayari, Sarmiento, Sima and Undav could easily fill in their shoes. With the additions of predicted signings Pavlovic, Young, Jashari, Loiodice, and Gruda, this team would become a perfect career mode team. I have a 99.5% chance of not getting any of these signings right, due to Brighton's unique signings that could lead to them finding a completely unknown player. These signings are just my opinion, led me know in the comments what your Brighton signings would be.
